Angela Sanchez
Angela Sanchez is CEO and co-founder of Merge-Tek - a social enterprise that leverages state of the art information technologies to enhance and transform the construction contracting landscape for minority owned businesses. She is also founder and CEO of Artyfactos, a socially and environmentally responsible jewelry business that offers pieces made from 100 % recycled natural materials like orange peel and fruit and tree seeds.Angela has worked for CVS Health, founding and managing their Construction Solutions Team and has more than 18 years of experience in the construction industry holding management positions for multi-million dollar projects with/for the government. She was also Program Manager for Babson Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Program for Manizales Mas, an action research project to develop the entrepreneurial capacity in Manizales, by bringing together the policies, structures, programs and climate that foster entrepreneurship. Angela is also co-founder and CEO of Consult@me, a platform that connects entrepreneurs around the world with Boston’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.Before founding Artyfactos and Consult@me, Angela co-founded and was the CFO/COO of Type-U, a platform that helps improve the lifestyle of people with diabetes.Born in Bogota, Colombia, Angela holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Pontifical Xaverian University and a MBA from Babson College. She is also a Certified Zumba Instructor, an energetic mother of three wonderful girls, and a fun wife.
JAIME GOMEZ
Jaime Gomez has over 22 years of professional experience in the industry, the last 15 with DELL EMC, on various engineering, business development, alliances, and program/project management roles. Jaime has strong leadership, business development, strategic alliances, and innovative capabilities. He is recognized for having highly developed negotiation, project management, and organizational abilities with extensive experience leading interdisciplinary, multi-company, multi-geo projects/teams. Mr. Gomez strongly believes in innovation, small wins and customer service; similarly, obsessively believes in data valuation and data insights as business assets and enablers for customer value creation.Jaime has dual citizenship from his native Colombia (with 2 Os) and the US (since 2016); holds a BS in Systems and Software Engineering, a MS in Computer Information Systems, is PMP Certified, and has participated in several leadership programs at HBS, The partnership, and EMC.In his spare time, he enjoys the most spending time with his family of 4 girls including his wife, pretending to be a photographer, and occasional reading between kids’ activities.
